Keep the orders coming!

Well the frame orders are coming in. I am currently working on 6 frames and hope to have them all completed by tommorow. Well, its after midnight now so I should get to bed so I am ready to take on all this paper, scissors and stamps in the morning!
Look forward to you all being able to head into Babies and Kids in Seddon and see the creations soon! They should all be there on Tuesday.

New name!

Inspired by Paper! Yes, for those who always are checking my page you will notice the new heading. I was calling my page blossom due to my love of flowers and my garden. I recently decided to register a name to start trading with. This became a long process when realising that every great name that I came up with and loved, was already taken. So after many hours of frustration, I decided on Inspired by Paper. Let me know what you think!

Sunday's Market

Thanks to everyone who came at visited me down at the Footscray Arts area yesterday. It was a great day and after a cold start to the morning, it turned out to be a lovely afternoon.Thanks to those who expressed interest in my frames. All orders will be completed in the next week. For those who missed out, don't forget you can put in a order at Babies and Kids in Gamon street Seddon. Otherwise I will be at the Yarraville Festival in 3 weeks. See you there!

Market time!

It has come around so quickly! It's time for my first market of 2010.This market is run by the Seddon Community Group and will be at the Footscray Community Arts Centre.I will really be focusing on my frames this time. I have not made any new cards in months. I have had so many frame orders that they have been taking all my time up. So if you are doing nothing tomorrow (Sunday 24th) come down to Moreland st and visit me and the many other stall holders!

Lola Frame

This frame was a adaption of the Tahlia frame (see Dec 16th blog entry).
The customer wanted this wooden frame (which isn't a shadow box frame) and therefore some of the squares were altered so there was no height in the frame and it could fit behind the glass.

Friends Frame

Well this is another one of the frames I have finished this Summer. It incorporates some photos of my friend and I and uses the colours that match her cushions and accessories in her lounge room. Look forward to giving it to her and thanking her for being a great friend!

Fletcher

This has been created for a friend of mines son. Like a lot of my creations- they have been waiting for a while for this. Fortunately they were building a new house so there has been no bedroom door to put in on until now! Hope he likes it!

Finally, it's up!

Happy new year! I thought I would share with you my mosaic house number. I started it about a year ago and then put it away and then finished it about 6 months ago. But then it spent the second half of the year on the ground whilst we worked out how to put it up. So finally it is up on my house. Now that it is there, I am not sure if I really like it but it will do for now!!
